When night follows day, I hear the calling, calling, to go
This twilight alone, it sees me falling, falling, and slow.
Shine it aloud, moonlight in the day, shine it aloud, shadows in the neverwhere
The sun in the night, the storms are raging, raging
Soldiers on the mountainside appear, they come for me
A smile across my lips and waiting for it all to end
And ever closer there's a line, I must not cross
A smile across my lips and waiting for soldiers' release
And ever closer to the edge, I bear this cross
They must be coming for me
They fade away
Come back to me, come back to me, come back to me!
Shine it aloud, and the light that casts a shadow will be gone
Shine it aloud, and the light that casts the shadow will be gone
Fly on open wings and lie in open arms and sleep tonight
Fly on open wings and lie in open arms and sleep tonight
Fly on open wings and lie in open arms and sleep tonight
Violet light be comes the horizon
so distant to me now
Listen to me now
Scarlet light is covering
Every one
Never seen before
Listen to me now
Blackest light is seen by the
Sick and the
Weakest of us all
Listen to me now
Hope flies on an open wing
Shine it loud
Fly on open wings and lie in open arms and sleep tonight
Fly on open wings and lie in open arms and sleep tonight
Sun and the moon collide
The dusk and dawn the night the morn.
Sun and the moon collide
When hope dissolves the light be gone.
See, facing you, facing me, all you see, of me
Nothing that you look for
See inside my eyes
Look in my soul. So much poverty, clearly
Riches on my face
Sun and the moon collide
The dusk and dawn the night the morn.
Sun and the moon collide
When hope dissolves the light be gone.
I can’t go on.
It’s all so gone.
The sun, the moon, the light, the dark,
the dawn, the night, the twilight, is gone.
All so gone.
All so gone.
But maybe…
Maybe…

Drifting Sun are a UK-based Progressive Rock band. Their music has been described as dramatic, theatrical, and atmospheric,
in the true style of Progressive Rock giants such as Dream Theater, Queensryche, Genesis and Jethro Tull, to name but a few of the bands that influenced their sound....more
BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... Absolutely hooked on this album from first listen. How rare is that with prog!??? Excellent songwriting and musicianship. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the collection. Thomas Lock
